then school will be out!
After the trip to Scotland in April, life has just been busy w/ two kids, school, church, etc.
My eldest has hit that time of the year when he has lots of performances or meetings. He's recently had:
1) Mock Trial competition
2) Peak Music Festival Competiion (with his usual band AND with the full orchestra)
3) Orchestra concert
4) State Bible Drill competition
5) NJHS year end awards program
6) President's Academic Awards for Excellence awards program
7) required participation in high school band mini-camps
and this week he has his year end band concert.
My youngest is still in grade school, so his schedule has not hit the stupid-crazy stage yet. He did have his year end piano recital recently and did well there.
Now I am completely exhausted after last week and the weekend.
Last week I had something to host or someplace to be Mon ~ Thurs. whilst being a single parent that week. Then the weekend was hectic as well...
1) eldest was at a birthday party
2) youngest had a haircut appt.
3) eldest attended an after school party prior to said birthday party
4) eldest had haircut appt
5) youngest's recital
6) eldest's Mock Trial party
7) sent kids to grandparents for overnight stay
8) had dinner out w/ friends
9) church
10) special choir performance Sunday night
and today I toured the Dallas Cowboys' new(er) stadium. It was interesting and now I can say I've been there. I'll never have to pay the outrageously overpriced fee for a ticket to anything there just so I can see the facility.
I am headed to bed....ZZZZzzzzzzzz...
